Why? Because he seems like a total tool, no- he seems like a whole shed full of tools- a calculated ball of record industry goo that does not have one ounce of sincerity, originality, or intensity. I do understand why he's famous, I do understand that some people think he's great. I just don't see it. I probably never will... his eyes seems dead, there is no passion in his voice or dancing or movements- yes I am consciously imposing these judgements and limits on my perception (which is something I usually shy away from). Meh!

In any case, I used to feel that way about anything related to JT at all, but now due to the wonderful band I am in doing a cover of his song "Cry Me A River" at our last show, I can say I like that song- the melody, and what we were able to do with it. Please enjoy our rivers of tears! Let me know what ya think!
