Is Coldplay The World's Most Boring Band?
Yes, but let's examine the issue a little more closely.
First, there's the ancillary question that if Coldplay is indeed the world's most boring band, does that not make them interesting by default? This is certainly a reasonable question. Nonetheless, since Coldplay is fronted by Chris Martin, the world's most boring man, I'd argue that the answer is simply 'no'.
Second, is it possible that Coldplay is politically interesting in that they are perhaps Britain's revenge on the world, especially the US, for electing George Bush? True, Coldplay was 'born' during the Bush Administration, but as unpleasant and dumb as they are, it is hard to imagine they are capable of being part of any political agenda.
So what have we learned here today? Clearly Coldplay is indeed the world's most boring band, and despite the additional association of being fronted by Chris Martin, the world' most boring man, they nonetheless remain completely uninteresting by any measure.
