The Video Epidemic18thDecember

There is something sinister crossing the land. It is a strange and wild thing affecting everyone with a face.
It is the web video. The idea that people are truly interested in putting their face to pixels. The idea that somehow their face will show up better when it is disembodied from their bodies and infinitely reproducible across the entire Internet.
I mean, do they even know who might be watching them? NO! They have no clue! For all I know, any number of people might have watched the guy below -- even my 87 year old Yiddish grandmother. But you know what? I think this guy loves doing this. I think he likes having his face disembodied from his body and thrown who-knows-where. It's the new openess of the Internet, isn't it? Spreading an image around like it is the 60's! Free love! Free video! Free advertising!
Is it the digital era that promotes this? Why does it promote this? Why are people allowed to put their faces all over the place? First Facebook, and now THIS!
